Mitch Schultz Producer/ Director
Mitch started his journey in Memphis, TN. Since, he has called Texas, Minnesota, Colorado, and New York home. From an early age his love of film, art, music and storytelling fueled his path, and established his extensive background in film, broadcast, and interactive.

Mitch’s experience encompasses work with Ghost Robot, Synthetic Pictures, and a variety of television work. His education includes a BS in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin and a MPS from Tisch School of the Arts’ Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television at New York University. top

 

Craig Garansuay Executive Producer
Craig is the CEO of the Garansuay Group, Inc. a real estate investment company based in Texas. Craig is also a Principal with United Commercial Realty, Inc of San Antonio; he has worked as a Commercial Real Estate Broker, Developer, and Entrepreneur in San Antonio and Austin, TX for 7 years. After a hiatus to New York, Craig realized his filmmaking desires and launched Spectral Alchemy, a production company built in conjunction with his lifelong friend, Mitch Schultz. After the success of Spectral Alchemy’s first production, several other projects have moved from research and development into production. top

Justin Corsbie Executive Producer
Justin is the owner and Executive Producer of Synthetic Pictures, a nationally recognized commercial, film and music video production company. Some of his clients include Wal-Mart, DreamWorks, Reebok, Shell, MasterCard, Dell, Champs Sports, Southwest Airlines, The American Red Cross, Miracle-Gro, Compaq and Fuddruckers.Justin studied film at NYU and worked in New York City until 1999. His experience in NYC included work with prominent companies like Miramax and Giaronomo Productions. In 1999 he returned to Austin, his hometown, accepting a position at Xopix Productions, where he soon became Executive Producer of the commercial division. Rick Strassman Producer
Rick Strassman was born in Los Angeles, California in 1952. He attended public schools in southern California's San Fernando Valley, and graduated from Ulysses S. Grant High School in Van Nuys in 1969.
As an undergraduate, he majored in zoology at Pomona College in Claremont California for two years before transferring to Stanford University, where he graduated with departmental honors in biological sciences in 1973.

During summers in college he worked for RedKen Laboratories, developing cosmetics and a line of hair dyes, and also performed laboratory research at Stanford, on the development of the chicken embryo's nervous system. He attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in the Bronx, New York, where he obtained his medical degree with honors in 1977.Dr. Strassman took his internship and general psychiatry residency at the University of California, Davis, Medical Center in Sacramento, and received the Sandoz Award for outstanding graduating resident in 1981.

After graduating, he worked for a year in Fairbanks, Alaska in community mental health and private psychiatric practice. From 1982-1983, he obtained fellowship training in clinical psychopharmacology research at the University of California, San Diego's Veteran's Administration Medical Center. He then served on the clinical faculty in the department of psychiatry at UC Davis Medical Center, before taking a full-time academic position in the department of psychiatry at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque in 1984.At UNM, Dr. Strassman performed clinical research investigating the function of the pineal hormone melatonin in which his research group documented the first known role of melatonin in humans. He also began the first new US government approved and funded clinical research with psychedelic drugs in over twenty years. Before leaving the University in 1995, he attained the rank of tenured Associate Professor of Psychiatry, and received the UNM General Clinical Research Center's Research Scientist Award. top


Matt Ehling Director of Photography
For over two decades, Matt Ehling has been a producer and cinematographer on dozens of nationally broadcast documentaries, educational programs and television shows, both short and longform. He has commercial cinematography credits as well, with clients including: 3M, Target Corporation, General Mills, The State of Minnesota, GMAC, The University of Wisconsin, Job Corps, American Express, and Ameriprise Financial, among many others. In 2006 he was a segment photographer on the PBS program Simple Living and in 2005 he photographed The Death of Tommy Grimes. Matt lensed the 2004 feature length documentary Venus of Mars and in 1999 he shot Los Enchiladas, an Official Selection of the Sundance Film Festival. top
